Colchester City Council is making changes to recycling and waste collection.
From 25 May, you can check your new recycling and rubbish collection calendar ahead of changes starting on 1 June 2026.
Every household in Colchester will have a new calendar, and for many people, collection days or weeks will change – so it’s important to take a moment to check yours.
Your new calendar will show when to put out your recycling, rubbish and garden waste, even if the dates are different to what you’re used to.
Checking early will help avoid missed collections and make sure everything runs smoothly.
