Eight Ash Green Parish Council has applied to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for consent under section 38 of the Commons Act 2006 to carry out restricted works on Fordham Heath. The Planning Inspectorate will decide the application on behalf of the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs.

The proposed works are:

The erection of 240.7 square metres of play equipment.

The works will be located to the south of Heath Road, north of the cricket pitch, with access via a mown grass path adjoining the existing bridleway. The works will not be fenced, and will be constructed of natural wooden materials.

A copy of the application form and accompanying documents showing the proposed works can be inspected at LSR Solicitors and Planning Consultants, 57 North Hill, Colchester between normal office hours until the Friday 17th May 2013.

Any objections or representations should be sent in writing ON or BEFORE Friday 17th May 2013 to the Planning Inspectorate at Room 3/25B, Kite Wing, Temple Quay House, 2 The Square, Temple Quay, Bristol, BS1 6PN or commonlandcasework@pins.gsi.gov.uk.Letters sent to the Planning Inspectorate cannot be treated as confidential. They will be copied to the applicant and possibly to other interested parties.
